Swimming Pool cloudy?

I opened my Above Ground Pool about 8 days ago, 24 hours ago I hooked up and started the filtration system. The water (after 24 hrs of filtering) was fairly clear. So I added 4 ounces of clarifier (and kept the pump running) This afternoon I (per the pool supply company instructions) added 2lbs of "chlorinated" super shock. Within an hour (maybe less) the pool is now a cloudy blue/green color. What did I do wrong and how do I fix it? I need any and all advice on pool opening/maintaining so thank you in advance
