how to get rid of peeling dry skin?

I have really dry skin, especially on my nose and chin. I used to peel the peeling skin off (ew, i know) because I thought that would make it go away but it made it worse! I try not to peel it at all now. Especially after washing my face and going swimming (probably the chlorine) I get super dry skin. I use Clean&Clear blackhead eliminating exfoliating face wash and Clean&Clear dual action moisturizer.
How can I get rid of the dryness, and also redness because I try to get my blackheads out of my nose and now around the edges there is red/purple skin all the time!

It is really annoying because when I wear foundation it shows the dryness even when I have moisturized loads. I don't wear makeup often.

It used to be quite oily but since I started wearing powder makeup (I don't anymore) it got really dry even though I don't use powder makeup anymore!

Try going to the doctor and see what he/ she recommends, if u cant go to the doctor, go buy an Aveeno bottle of lotio. That says "heals skin" put it on twice a day, you should see results within a week, i used to get dryness around my nose & above my eye lids, dont have that problems anymore
