baqua spa chemicals for hot tubs?
Has anyone had any problems after switching from one chemical to baqua spa chemicals as far as having a brown ring form around the Hot Tub that was really sticky and had a bad odor to it?
I've used baqua spa for years and have had a problem with a foamy brown ring around my tub. I use a special scrunge to remove it (99 cents at our spa store, the one that looks like a bug) and it is caused by body oils, moisturizers, soap and perspiration residue, etc. that comes from your skin and detergent or softener residue from suits. If you don't want to contend with it, take a rinse off shower prior to entering the spa and you won't get it anymore.
