went to local pool store bought kit but confused.... what do i put in 1st? i shocked it and checked it 3 hrs later and its still low so i threw in some more. when do i put in the chlorinating granules? or the conditioner? help... never had a pool before!

If you bring a water sample to a local pool store in a small cup/container then they can check it in their water testing computer and give you suggestions. I would get a floating dispenser for chlorine and a test kit so you can check the level of Ph and chlorine in the pool. Then after checking those you can add the chemicals needed based on the test.
