Where Can I Get A Belly Boat/ Float Tube?

My husbands birthday is coming up and he loves to fish every weekend since we live up in the Rocky Mountains. I got him a great Belly Boat for his birthday, but I want to get him a gag gift too. I wanted to get him a belly boat that is shaped like a duck. (Similar to a simple inner tube) I cannot seem to be able to find anyone who sells different type of belly boats/ float tubes.

Anyone know any great spots to get this type of gift?

A ducky shaped float tube? Toy store. Any place that sells wading pools and pool toys.

I highly doubt you'll find a "real" float tube that looks anything like that. It would be better for both you AND him if you just buy him another tube. It would be an even greater gift if you buy your husband a tube that's better than the one he already has...

Belize Cave Tubing

Belize Cave tubing has become a very popular activity for cruise ship visitors to Belize and also to vacationers staying in places such as Ambergris Cave.

 

Trips depart Ambergris Cave early and you head to the mainland via a fast boat and cut across the bay to where the river meets the sea. Here you enter the river mouth and head up the river where you can see lots of cool rainforest animals, such as Crocodiles, Parrots and Iguanas and Howler monkeys sitting in the treetops.

As you speed up the river it's an exhilarating ride and eventually you arrive at Manatee look out where you jump on a private bus for the ride to where the Belize Cave tubing is.

 

Once you reach the jungle camp you grab your tractor inner tube and follow your guide as you hike into the jungle. After 15 minutes of Hiking you will come to the river and the entrance to the underground cave systems where the ancient Maya worshiped among the crystal and limestone formations.

 

You jump into the cool water and let the gentle current take you and your inner tube and float down the river and into the underground Belize Cave tubing seeing spectacular limestone formations and cools cave systems.

 

When we reached the river, people took pictures. The water was a beautiful emerald green. We climbed on to our inner-tubes, and began to float down the river. It was only a short distance to where we entered the limestone cave.

 

The water was very slow moving, so we used our arms to move us along. But over,all the float trip was very casual. At points, I hooked my feet over the edge of my wife's tube, and towed her along with me so she could relax.

After a while, we exited the cave into the bright sunlight. We were surrounded by jungle again. The people from the cave tubing trip had gotten spread out now. The water was moving a little faster now, and we floated more casually without paddling as much. Soon we arrived at the spot in the river where we crossed using the rope. I exited the river, but my wife got stuck in a whirlpool. One of the worked helped get her out.

I whole heartedly recommend trying cave tubing if you get down to Belize.
