eMachine T2984 desktop won't power on ... bad power supply? bezel assembly?

I have verified that ...

-it is not an issue with the outlet
-it is not an issue with the power cord

When I plug the PC into the wall, there is no small green light on the motherboard near the clock battery. Normally I used to think this would light up at least, even if the PC was powered off.

It is an eMachine T2984, Is it worth the $30 to replace the power supply or could this be a different issue?

Also, the front bezel assembly is supposed to attach to the motherboard via this pin grid:

The 3 plugs are labeled POWER LED, H.D.D. LED and POWER S.W. Can anyone translate as to what goes where so I can verify the power issue with this desktop is NOT related to me plugging the front bezel assembly into this grid incorrectly?

If the Motherboard is a stander Intel then the Headers would be as such.

Green - Power LED
Yellow - HDD LED (Alternate black located most like to the left)
Purple - Reset Switch
Red - Power Switch

But it most likely is your PSU, because even if you have to headers plugged in wrong the 5v Green LED on the Motherboard would still be lit. What the Green LED is for is to let you know the board is receiving power.
