Ground Pool Sand
Above Ground Pool steps--can I use water instead of sand to hold down my new pool steps?
I'm hoping to be able to use water instead of sand as ballast so I can remove the steps easier for winterization. I also worry about the sand escaping from the steps into the pool water. Steps are Confer Step-1 brand. Thanks!
You'll need to use the sand because it's heavier than water. That will keep the pool steps from floating.
