i've read somewhere you can use water softner salt. how to do this.

I would call a pool supply store and ask about a chlorine
alternative.
It is either more expensive or less expensive.
I think it might last longer so if it is more
epensive,it would save you money in the long run.
I can't remember what it is called just a chlorine
alternative.
