Iron problem in swimming above the ground Swimming Pool?

We just got our 18''x48" intex above ground metal frame swimming pool. We filled with well water, and it's BROWN. I went to local Norbert's pool store, and also Great Escape. They gived to me some iron controlling chemicals, and chlorox. After 2 days nothing seems to work. Please HELP. Kids can't wait to get in to the pool. I was so sure those guys will know everything, and it seems, like they don't. Verry dissapionting.

It may not be iron in the water if the chemicals didn't work. You probably have tannins in your water. Tannins give water a light brown tint, and come from decaying vegetation in your well water. Also, iron comes in two forms ferric and ferrous. The ferrous iron, which is dissolved in the water cannot settle to the bottom of your pool.
