How do I level an above-ground Swimming Pool?

I have one of those temporary, Summer above-ground pools with an inflatable ring on the top. The ground underneath is difficult to level because the sand won't stay put. Help!

Did you wet and tamp the sand down? It should stay in place if you did, you may have used too corse of a sand. You may have to build a frame around the area where the sand is to help hold it in place.....sand under a pool should be wet down and tamped into place eliminating any air pockets in the sand.
