Ok. So i am only 11 and i have started my periods. In school we have only had one talk about this type of thing and that was a year ago. I live with many questions unanswered and find it hard to cope with periods. So maybe you can help.

How long to periods last? ex: 3 days, 1 week, 4-5 days

What brand do you use for panty liners?

Have you any tips because blood goes every where when im sleeping?

I started my period when I was 11 as well and I hid it from my mom until I was in the 8th grade. I wouldn't want anyone else to have to go through that (not saying you're in the same situation) It's best if you could have someone close help you with this in person.

1. It's getting kind of messy at night because we move in our sleep and your pad is not thick enought to absorb everything.

2. When you first start your period it will be "off track" for about year. Meaning, next month you might not start around the same time this is totally normal.

3. Your period will last anywhere from 2 days - a week depending on how light/heavy your cycle is.

4. You should probably use pads to start out with and work your way up to tampons when you get more fimilar with your cycle.

5. I sudgest you use my favorite brand -Always overnight with wings. The pad is pretty thick so you shouldn't have any embarrasing accidents during school. It's a great pad to start out on.

6. Change your pad before It's completely red.
