My firebelly Newts just won't EAT!!!?
hello i have two newts, i believe they are juveniles because they are pretty small and they just won't eat...at first they were eating when i had them just lounging around on a floating log in my aquarium...then one day they just won't, i found out that juveniles are terrestrial so i set up a nice habitat with soil, rocks and branches and still they just won't eat. I tried feeding them bloodworms and crickets with tweezers but they just won't take it anymore. I have two older newts and they are fine, but these ones for some crazy reason are starving themselves!!! Should i put them back in the aquarium with the two older newts? or leave them in the terrestrial habitat...its been a week so far when they were in the terrestrial habitat and they will not eat, all they do is hide!! Helpppp!!
stress or to warm temperatures cause non eating, also they might just not like being tweezer fed, try putting in some fruitflies or bean weevils or chopped earthworms and just leaving them,
hope they eat soon
