I ate a cup of noodles at my friends house and he got really mad at me and said i waste everything because i didnt want to drink the broth leftover because it doesnt make me feel good. later that day we had a campfire and i was going to throw a marshmellow into it to see it get all big and firey for fun, then he fliped out on me again, hit my marshmellow on the ground, said i am a little rich boy and waste everything, threw my fold chair across the yard, and left

He may feel contempt towards your behavior because he had/has it rough or was taught to not be wasteful. If it was his food, you should respect him, but you shouldn't have to drink the broth if you don't want to. Offer it to him if he's so resourceful.
