Northstar Pool
I have a 25000 gallon saltwater pool with spa, waterfall, and heater. It will not circulate water. HELP!?
We just bought a new motor because the other one got water on it and the bearings were bad. We got a 2HP, 2 Speed. We currently have a Northstar pump. I can't get the pressure to build up in the filter and water is not circulating. The waterfall won't run and the spa, which flows into the pool is not flowing. The skimmer, which usually sucks water like crazy is not doing anything...no suction at all. Also, the pool gets very green easily. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Your pump definitely needs to be primed. If you've already done this then perhaps the coupling for the water inlet for the pump is leaky and drawing air. this will lead to a loss of prime condition. Check the seals on the inlet to the pump. If you can hear it sucking air here then Vaseline on the gasket in this coupling might be the answer. It's an old Dutch trick
