Pool Filter Cartridges
Pentair Cartridge Pool Filter that leaks?
It leaks where the top lid and the bottom meet. The O-ring is new. I just purchased 3" black screw that tightens the band that holds the lid and bottom together. I've tried several times to reset the the lid and tighten the band and still leaks.
Please help. I cant' figure out why this is happening!!!
i own a pool company.what you need to do is get a rubber mallet.next release the pressure on the tank and tap all the way around on band clamp.tighten a little more,then tap around band clamp.do this one more time.what you are doing is seating the band clamp.after this is done this action should solve your problem.let me know.my email is jldailey2000@yahoo.com
