SUNBURN!!! Please help!!?
I was a friends pool yesturday. And I Burn REALLY easily. I do tan but anyway, I put sunscreen on my face,back and arms. I didn't put any on my legs. Becuase I wouldnt think i'd have my legs out of the water. Well I was floating on a tube and NOW I'M REALLY BURNN! Its hurts like hell!!!! I Can't even walk!!! My ankels are getting swollon. I Couldnt even go to sleep T_T!!! And my mom dosen't care. She's just like "put some a noxzema on"!! WHAT DO I DO!!! >_ thanks T___T
okay. if you called the advice nurse hotline this is what they'd tell you. for the first few days use a cooling aloe vera GEL not lotion. it helps to refrigerate the gel. after the pain has lessened considerably you should use LOTION to prevent peeling and dryness. also to help with pain take ibuprofen (Motrin/Advil) all sunburns are second or third degree burns. a tan is technically a mild first degree burn
