Do you have to put chemicals in the Sand N Sun 13' x 42" Metal Frame Pool?

I wanted to get this pool but i wanted to know if you have to put chemicals in it first. If anyone can help that would be great! Thanks

You don't really have to put chemicals in a pool, but if you don't or don't change the water often, it will only be suitable for tadpoles and carp.
