Can my 5 Months baby start swimming underwater?

My friends just recently showed me a video of infants getting swimming lessons underwater. I find it quite amazing cause i did not know infants knows how to hold their breathe underwater. After seeing the video I want to enroll my son in some underwater swimming classes as well, but my concern is. ever since birth he has never been underwater, does anyone know if he forgot how to hold his breath under water? because i would be super sad if i put him underwater and he choked because he tried to breathe air. If he still can try then does anyone know the age they will forget if we never put them underwater since birth?

The instructors are very good at what they do and they teach them to hold their breath right from the start. By the time most of our kids are 2 they can swim from one end of a pool to the other without even thinking about it on their own (supervised of course).
