How to create a very simple digital bandpass filter?

I am working on a home project that samples a 10-bit ADC at 16Hz. In other words, I am reading the ADC via a regular timer interrupt that trips 16 times a second (every 0.0625ms). The input into the ADC is from an accelerometer. I wish to apply a bandpass filter to keep the bandwidth between 0.5Hz and 2.5Hz. How can I accomplish this in an easy manner rather than implementing a complex FIR or IIR filter? (note: my code memory size is extremely limited). Thanks in advance.
Note: I can't use an RC circuit. This is software and the hardware is absolutely fixed - cannot change it currently.
