should i clean new budgie toy?

I just got a ladder and some ring toys for my budgie,should i clean them first or is it ok to put them straight into the cage?If i do clean them do i just use water?Thanks!

Yes. Just soak them in water for 10 minutes and dont put any products in the water. It could be toxic for your bird. You do this when you obtain new toys because many people touch them. So all these senses got on them and maybe some germs.
