mufflers for my 02 monte carlo?

i want my 2002 monte carlo ss to have some muscle in the sound. i want to get new mufflers to give it a deeper tone, i just can't decide. my friend who is a street racer says for me to get silent flowmasters because i want it to be more of a "show car" not a racer. i was thinking about getting dyno ultra flo's but idk if i should listen to my street racing friend

If your talking about the Dynomax Ultra Flo exhaust over the Flowmaster you have a good idea.The over all quality of the Dynomax cant be beat.Lots of my chevy owners use the flowmaster exhaust and they sound like hollowed out beer cans.Dynomax is and will stay my choice for exhaust.Flowmaster is overrated in lots of applications.Best of luck.
