How many acres would it be to power 64 mega watts of solar energy?

Yeah so I have a science project and I have NO clue on how to do this.

You're in luck: there's already one!: It's called Nevada Solar One and it's out in Nevada US. 64 MW nominal capacity (on a normal day in Nevada, that is). It's about 400 acres the wikipedia site says.

To show calculations:

Energy per Area from the sun
Efficiency of solar panels (40% is maximum right now; other forms of collection include Parabolic Troughs and Power Towers, see wiki site).

Solve algebraically: Energy per area * Efficiency = 64 MW

For solar panels that'd be: Energy per Acre (in MW) * .40 = 64 MW
